Maybe it’s because Kyle and I are packing up and moving into a larger home to accommodate our growing family, but I’ve been feeling somewhat nostalgic.  As I’ve been collecting our books, games, décor and everything that goes into making a living space a home, I have been finding reasons to put off packing up the girls’ nursery.  Probably because it’s the first room that has ever been theirs.  So much time went into preparing for Addie and Ellie’s arrival into this space, and it seems so short lived.  As soon as we get into our new place, they will have another nursery – but not this one.  This one is special.  Although it is simple, it is something that I never want to forget.  I want to remember all the sweet moments that happened here- the sweet little cries that summoned me from sleep; gently touching their cheeks as they nursed; counting their toes and singing to them after their diaper changes.  All the routine, everyday things that seem to engulf your time when newborns are around that disappear so soon.  My babies are already four months old and I struggle with feeling like I’ve already somehow missed so much, and I find myself whispering to them “stop growing.”  Anyway, I thought I would dedicate this post to a very special room, our baby girls’ nursery.

Sweet Storage:

Our favorite sitting place…

Where the tiny ones sleep…

Where they get clean…

But my favorite part about this nursery is who lives in here…
